My son used to keep a macaw as pet, and being the full time homemaker, I was helping to take care of it very much. Gradually I grew to love it and it became a part of the family. It was huge and needed dark shelter, and soon we relocated it.
However, instead of seeing them caged, I always love the birds to be free in the wild, where they can fly and shelter itself in the trees.
